... et allez fouiner par ICI dans les archives de l'ami Eric, en perpétuelle recherche de ces "traces" du passé. Encore un modeste bâtiment "utilitaire"  chargé d'histoires et comme je les affectionne. Les nombreux contrastes ainsi que la patine poussée pourrait bien me servir d'inspiration pour ressortir ultérieurement dans une version personnelle modifiée.

... and browse THERE in the archives from my friend Eric, perpetually hunting and searching for these "traces" from the pastimes. One more time a modest urban warehouse full of stories. The numerous contrasts as well as the strong weathering should be very useful for some of my future works on a building of this kind.

TYPOGRAPHY FROM THE PASTIMES...

... observées en levant les yeux, et pour se remémorer des activités disparues. Tout autant que les applications typographiques utilisées (et renvoyant parfois au milieu du 19e siècle), c'est la patine parfois subtile du temps qui leur confère aujourd'hui cet aspect graphique attirant, celui-ci nous replongeant dans l'"autrefois". Variations toutes en beige passé et en reliquats de jaune...

... observed, looking up and to remember about some disappeared businesses.
As well as the typographic applications employed (and sometimes reffering to the middle of the 19th century) it's the subtle ageing of time which today reveals this interesting graphic aspect plungeing us into the pastimes.
Variations between faded beige and yellow remnants...

... Pour ces deux portails complètement distincts et présentant des effets de vieillissements à méditer... J'ai particulièrement apprécié les lettres moulées d'un autre temps ou bien encore le logo peint sur ce portail d'usine délavé. 

... For these two completely different gates and showing us interesting ageing effects to meditate... My eye particularly enjoyed the moulded letters from another era as well as the painted logo on this weather-beaten gate of a vegetal oil factory.

DANS LE MUR...

STRAIGHT INTO THE WALL...

....voies sans issue. Un post  loin des murs "habituels" et pourtant si évocateur pour témoigner d'un passé révolu et du temps qui use. J'affectionne également ces situations de rails industriels inutilisés menant nulle part et nous racontant des décennies d'activité brisées sur le chemin du déclin. Tout est dit, entre rouille et végétation anarchique...

... tracks to nowhere, far from the "walls" I depict usually . However I also particularly enjoy these situations of disused industrial railtracks leading to nowhere and which tell us decades of activity broken on the path of decline.
All is said, between rust and uncontrolled vegetation...

... ou de multiples effets de patine en "férocité" sur différents supports :

brique enduite, bois peint ( pour cette rareté ), pour finir par du métal recouvert d'adhésif... encore des sources d'inspiration alléchantes ! 

L'occasion de reprendre le "fil" après quelques jours de pause sur la "blogosphère".

... or multiple strong effects of weathering on various bases : brick with coating, painted wood (for this rather rare pannel still in place ! ), to end with metal covered with adhesive... one more time attractive sources of inspiration !
