... le travail engagé ces derniers jours sur la porte s'achève par de multiples phases visant à affiner certains effets. Comme à l'habitude, j'emploie une large palette de techniques et de produits pour obtenir un résultat me paraissant convaincant... 
Après cette parenthèse, retour maintenant sur la façade en elle-même afin d'achever la réclame et terminer la patine avant l'apport des derniers détails. A bientôt sur ce thème.  

... the work I started several days ago regarding to the door ends with multiple stages to refine some effects. As usual, I employed many methods and products to obtain a result appearing convincing to my eyes. 
After this parenthesis, I'm now coming back to the façade to end the wall-ad as well as the overall ageing on the wall.

... et c'est dans le dernier LT mag. avec un premier volet sur le thème des façades de garages anciens. 

... It's in the latest issue of LT magazine, with this first part regarding to some old  façades of garages.

UNE TYPOGRAPHIE FOURNIE...

A CONSISTENT TYPOGRAPHY...

... indiquant toutes sortes d'activités au fond de ce court passage... En fait on y découvre deux ateliers abandonnés aux portes rouillées,  autocollants cuits par le temps et autres détails intéressants. Entre deux, une bicoque en ruines aux volets vermoulus renforce l'ambiance. De surcroît, des manoeuvres assez compliquées devaient s'opérer pour accéder aux bâtiments vu la disposition de ceux-ci, donnant un air vraiment particulier aux lieux.

... showing all kind of activities in this short & narrow lane.. In fact, I discovered two abandoned workshops/sheds with their rusty doors, broken windows and stickers cooked by time. Between the two buildings, a ruined shack with mouldered shutters reinforces the atmosphere of the place.

Après cette longue pause, j'ai mis provisoirement de coté la façade et sa réclame pour "dégrossir" le travail concernant la porte "Primagaz". Après une  journée complète de peinture-patine, une bonne base se dessine. Celle-ci me permettra  d'aborder ensuite les effets de manière plus fine et d'apporter quelques détails en sus. A suivre la semaine prochaine.

... After this long break, I temporarily put aside the façade and its wall-ad to     rough the work concerning the door and its painted typography. After several hours of painting-ageing stages, I obtained a good basis to go further with fine effects. This is to follow next week.

... un bon CAFE pour se revigorer, où plutôt quelques typos datées,avant de reprendre nos travaux miniatures dans le courant de la semaine prochaine. Excellent weekend à tous, où que vous soyez.

... nos pérégrinations estivales m'ont permi de capturer quelques exemples pour le moins intéressant dont voici quelques extraits. La vie a souvent déserté ces structures anciennes aux matériaux usés par le temps, dont certains détails pourront nous interpeller d'un point de vue purement "technique". Sous un autre angle encore, ces lieux sont propices à de multiples divagations et l'on y imagine toutes sortes d'histoires et de destins.

... our summer wanderings allowed me to capture some catchy examples, and here's a sample of them. Life has often deserted these old structures with materials aged by time... & some details may be interesting in a purely "technical" point of view. From another angle, these places are conducive to multiple digressions and we will imagine all kind of stories and destinies.

... après un break vraiment... prolongé. Les vacances en période estivale restent une parenthèse dédiée à la détente, mais la passion pour les "vieilleries" est omniprésente et j'essaie d'allier l'utile à l'agréable. Les trajets sur les petites routes secondaires pour visiter tel ou tel endroit sont systématiquement propices à de nouvelles découvertes et les arrêts photos furent nombreux encore cette année. Quelques clichés ici pêle-mêle, en attendant d'en partager d'autres avec vous lors de mes prochaines posts.

... after an extended break. Vacation in summer remain a parenthesis dedicated to relaxation, but passion for  " old & aged stuff "  is everywhere         and I always try to combine business with pleasure. The trips on small roads to visit particular places full of history are systematicaly conducive to new discoveries & photo stops were numerous once again this year.
