CAFE ...."RELIC" : FROM REALITY TO UTMOST REALISTIC WORK.
Il y a un bon moment, Frank Destouesse m'avait passé des photos de vieux commerces et d'ateliers abandonnés qui allaient très bientôt connaître leur mise à terre. Parmi les nombreux clichés, un d'entre - eux retenu alors plus particulièrement mon attention pour entamer une série de travaux sur les "déliquescences urbaines".
Je me suis inspiré de cette façade -qu'on imagine chargée d'histoires- pour en relater une nouvelle intitulée "Relique"... L'occasion d'appliquer là encore mon travail en hyper-réalisme.
A long time ago, Frank Destouesse, a friend of mine, let me know about pics he took from old frontshops and abandonned workshops. Among these photos, one was particularly interesting to my artistic / modelling point of view. I then decided to start a new serie of hand-made structures : simple façades to depict and focus on the advanced decayed appearences of the walls.
Filtered through my eye, I 've totaly re - built this façade using foamboard and filler to tell a new story intitled " Relic"... Another good occasion to apply my techniques in utmost realistic ageings.
